The Story Behind Designitlife

My name is Jaya Vashistha. I am a self-taught designer who discovered that the most meaningful thing I could create was something that made someone else’s everyday life feel a little more beautiful.

I learned design the way most passionate people do: through courses, through hours on YouTube, and through simply making things over and over again until they felt right. There is something quietly satisfying about that process, about seeing a design come together and knowing it will one day be held in someone’s hands, pinned to a wall, or tucked inside an envelope for someone they love. I work primarily with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Fresco, and Dimension for print designs, and Adobe Lightroom for photo editing. Every product here is designed and curated by me, from the first sketch to the final file.
